Rooted in Ann Arbor

A vineyard is taking shape

The Work Underway

A2Roots began with two friends, a shared respect for the land, and a belief in wine rooted in Michigan.

Planted on family land farmed for generations, the vineyard carries forward Michigan's agricultural legacy.

We honor the soil, the tradition, and the promise of future vintages.

Where We Are Today

Six hundred vines span three blocks of Prairie Star, Frontenac, and Itasca, rooted in glacial soils in Ann Arbor.

Planted in 2025,  the vineyard is still in its earliest stages. Our focus now is on guiding the vines as they establish, training them upward, balancing growth, and shaping them for long-term vine health.

The first harvest is still ahead, and each season is an opportunity to shape the vineyard with patience and intention.
